Story & inspiration

Shot in the stairwell of a brutalist museum an hour before opening, Silent Architecture finds tenderness in material we're taught to read as cold. The frame waits for the exact minute the sun clears the parapet and the concrete briefly forgets its weight.

Brutalism gets called severe. I think it's just shy. Give it the right light and it opens up.
